The Ticker Tales take
Tempsens Instruments is a thermal-engineering and specialised-cable maker producing customised temperature-sensing, electrical-heating and cable solutions for industry. ₹650 Cr issue at ₹285–300 that closed on 24 Aug. Final demand was extraordinary at ~180.37× and the grey market ran hot to ~₹295 (~98% over ₹300) on listing eve. Our locked call was a cautious Subscribe built on a ~6% read taken from a much thinner early signal. It listed on 28 Aug at ₹634 on NSE (+111.3%) and ₹631.20 on BSE (+110.4%) — a spectacular debut, then eased to around ₹590 (~+97%) as profit-booking set in. The Subscribe direction was right, but this was one of our largest under-calls; we report it plainly rather than re-rate a frozen call.
