The Ticker Tales take

Lohia Corp is a long-established, globally competitive maker of machinery for the technical-textiles industry — the equipment that produces woven polypropylene and HDPE fabric and sacks (Raffia) used for packaging cement, food grains and fertiliser. It's a niche engineering business with a worldwide customer base and decades of experience, and profit grew strongly in FY26. One thing to note: the entire ₹1,101 Cr issue is an offer for sale, so the money goes to existing shareholders cashing out, not into the company. The issue finished about 7.25× subscribed, but the grey-market premium stayed thin at roughly 3% over the ₹425 top price, so with no real listing edge we held it Neutral — a frozen call we don't revise. It listed on 30 Jul at ₹461 on NSE (+8.5%) and ₹460 on BSE (+8.2%) — a modest positive debut that came in a touch above the flat read our Neutral call implied, so day-one investors saw a small gain.
